National Children’s Month Celebration

The Department of Education has issued a Memorandum for the celebration with the theme “Neew Normal na Walang Iwanan,: Karapatan ng Bawat Bata Ating Tutukan”.

This year, we are celebrating the 29th Anniversary of the Republic Act No. 10661, title An Act Declaring the Month of November of Every Year as the National Children’s Month.

According to the memo, the year 2021 poses great challenges and continuously aggravates the underlying issues on the realization of children’s rights as the country reels from the prolonged consequences of the pandemic. The 29th MCN focus and theme for this year will cover the myriad of issues on children’s rights to survival, development, protection, and participation in the new normal setting. It aims to ensure that no child will be left behind, regardless of the situation. With the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, the NCM activities will still strictly comply with the minimum standards, and it shall utilize quad media (print media, broadcast media, outdoor media, and the social media) as tools in education Filipinos on children’s rights, parenting, and the concerns surrounding them.

With the activities stated in this memo, people will be more educated on our protection and on our rights.

I like how you used other sources to support and state you claim. And it is cited as should be.
And yes, we should be more educated on the rights of children and we must also protect them. No more comments.

    Have nice day and GBY:›

  2. I like that you presented straight facts about the topic and I agree that with these facts being accessible to the public, people will be more invested in children's rights.
